Harris '62 is one of the many House Plans established at the City College of New
York (CCNY). House Plans were to a commuter college like CCNY, what fraternities
and sororities were to the traditional residential colleges. They provided a means for
students with similar interests to gather for social and other extracurricular
activities. The Harris '62 House Plan was established in 1958 with 33 students for
the graduating class of 1962.
